G3 Transmission and Auto is a locally owned family business serving Smithville, the Northland and the greater Kansas City area. We specialize in transmission diagnostics, repair and rebuilding performed right here in our shop, along with general automotive maintenance and repair.
We built G3 around the belief that customers deserve clear answers, honest recommendations and the time to understand their options. Our team takes pride in quality workmanship, open communication and treating every customer the way we would want our own family and friends to be treated.

They did a thorough diagnostic test in the beginning, and even saved the parts they took out of our transmission to show us what parts had failed.
