Programming and Tuning

Modern vehicles rely heavily on electronic control systems. The engine control module (ECM) and transmission control module (TCM) manage everything from fuel delivery and turbo operation to shift strategy and torque management. When properly calibrated, these systems can significantly improve performance, drivability, and reliability.
At G3 Transmission & Diesel, we provide aftermarket diesel tuning, transmission tuning, and factory level module programming for Dodge, Chevrolet, and Ford vehicles.
1
Aftermarket Diesel Tuning
Aftermarket tuning allows us to recalibrate the vehicle’s control modules to optimize how the engine and transmission work together. Depending on the setup and the customer’s goals, tuning can improve several areas.
2
Transmission (TCM) Tuning
We also provide transmission tuning for supported gas and diesel vehicles. Modern transmissions rely on sophisticated shift strategies, torque management, and clutch control that are all managed through the TCM.
3
Factory Module Programming
Not every programming job involves performance tuning. Many repairs require factory level module programming to ensure the vehicle operates correctly.

We perform factory programming for Dodge, Chevrolet, and Ford vehicles using manufacturer level software and tools.

Additional Programming & Calibration Services
The services listed above cover many of the most common programming and tuning requests we see, but they do not represent everything we are capable of doing.

Modern vehicles contain dozens of control modules, and many repairs, upgrades, or diagnostic situations require programming or calibration changes that are unique to the vehicle.

Because of that, we offer many additional programming and calibration services that may not be listed here. If you are unsure whether your vehicle or request is supported, we encourage you to reach out.

Our team can review your vehicle, the modules involved, and the type of work being performed to determine what programming or tuning options are available.

If you have questions about ECM tuning, TCM tuning, module programming, calibration compatibility, or software related concerns, feel free to contact us and we will be happy to help point you in the right direction.
